April was a very quiet month for me on the internet and especially on my blog.
Since my last post (New Computer?) I’ve had a couple interesting things happen and quite a few good things happen.
Of the many good things that have happened, my favorite one is the fact that I get to officially get to go to Camp Niangua! This camp is hosted by Diggins Apostolic Church and the pastor is Bro. Herion. I wasn’t going to be able to go because we had heard from somewhere that you had to go with a youth group and you couldn’t just go by yourself. Well that information got denied/shut down because it wasn’t the truth at a Youth Rally that Bro. Riggen’s church in Olathe, KS (New Life). After the service was over they had some activities like basketball and I think they had kickball, I was saddened because they didn’t have any volleyball (lol)!! I was watching some people play basketball because I prefer to watch and not play since I can’t play (I’m not good at it) and I got to talking with a young man from Bro. Herion’s church (I can’t remember his name for some reason). We got to talking and as time went along more and more people came over and started talking with us. By the time they were ready to leave, I think there was their whole youth group that went to the youth rally standing around in the circle. While we were all standing around talking and having a good time, their youth leader came over to me and asked me if I was going to Camp Niangua. I told him I wanted to and then I told him why we thought I wouldn’t go. He immediately shot that idea down and told me that I could go since I was going to be going by myself. I got happy about that news because I really wanted to go! Something awesome happened at that youth service, but I’ll keep that for myself right now.
Lol
I went that Sunday night or Wednesday night after the Youth Rally and talked to my pastor and asked him if it was okay for me to go to Camp Niangua. He said it was and when he told me that I could have jumped and danced for joy because I was so happy!! Needless to say I came out of there smiling and people was wondering what I was so exuberant about. Haha
The rest of this story is just that I filled out the forms, had my pastor sign the form(s?), and then mailed it with the money. So I am officially going to Camp Niangua!!!!
The only news that I want to share with the world (there is a ton of more news that the whole internet/world doesn’t need to know since it’s private stuff) is the fact that I’ve picked up a project or two. The first project I’ve picked up is a website and that’s kind of on the back burner since I’ve got to do a lot of research before I can actually do it. The other project is an idea that came to me a couple weeks ago. This project is to create a script of one of the stories in the Bible. (No I won’t say what it is because someone else might take my idea.) After me and the person who is more than likely going to be helping me write this script get done, I’m going to take it and record it and make it a dramatized version. This is going to be a learning experience for me because this will be the first dramatized project that I have done. Why do I want to do this? Because my pastor (Pastor Chalfant) has wrote some very good novels and I asked him if he would like to have them as audio books and then maybe a dramatized audio version of it. Creating a dramatized version of his novels would be very long process and I want some experience before I do this.
Do you have any ideas for scripts for me? Or have you wrote and good scripts that you would like to have made into dramatized audio versions? If you do, then please feel free to email me at: admin [at] graywolf336.com. I would be more than happy to try it out, but it would take me some time before I actually could get it done.
Before I go, here’s a link to some images of me when I was younger than I am now. The image up above is the most recent picture I have of me right now and it’s honestly not very good in my opinion. Here’s the link: My baby pictures
Enjoy and God Bless,
Bradley Hilton
