I think I had told someone before I came up to Colorado that it was going to be a relaxing trip. And man it has been! Especially today. It’s been super cold today and snowing off and on and now that we’re heading to town again, there’s another huge storm coming in! Why we heading back to town again today? Cause we ran out of cereal! Haha – Yeah I know crazy, but hey food is important!

This picture is of the side our the cabin where we are staying at. It’s really cool but deciving cause it looks like the snow is melting but it’s not.
Tomorrow we go out hunting seriously and I’m thinking someone might actually get an elk. But tomorrow it’s going to be cold! Seriously cold… I think the low tomorrow is 5-15 degrees! Insanely cold if you ask me.
I’m running out words and things to say for some reason… So until next time!
God Bless,

Day two of being in Colorado, I’m dirty. No, no, no not a dirty mind! How could you think like that? I’m referring to being dirty as in dirt, dust, and no shower. Man it has been a blast so far!! Yesterday after we left the restaurant, we headed out to the camp ground and got to our cabin. Got everything unpacked and unloaded, including both four wheelers. Once everything was settled and in place where we thought we wanted it, it was time!
Time for what? Glad you asked!
It was time four wheel riding! Not just any riding, but mountain trails riding! We left camp grounds around 4:30pm and didn’t get back till around 7pm.. In that time frame total fun happened! Went up through trails where the high mountain was on the left and a shear drop off was on the right and the trail itself was rockly bumpy. That was the fun of it, controlling the four wheeler and if you messed up God help you. Another thing that happened while going on the trail was it started to sleet/rain. I had my sunglasses on and was glad I did cause it hurt my face at times, but it was fun!
We’re currently at Wal-Mart doing grocery shopping for stuff we forgot.. I’m tryping this up as I push the cart around lol I think we’re gonna go riding around more later, so I’m looking forward to it.
God Bless,
Bradley
P.S.: Enjoy the awesome picture I took with my phone, the Palm Pre!

It’s summer, it’s July, and it’s almost Akron Youth Conference time. What does that mean for me? Vacation! So far this summer I’ve already had one one week vacation and that was going time well spent at Camp Niangua! (And I do plan on making a post about that camp, but it’s going to take some time since it’s the best vacation and best thing that has happened this summer!) Well, this week I’m on another vacation and this time it’s for Akron Youth Conference. I’m excited for it, but defiantly not as excited for it as I was for Camp Niangua.
You’re thinking, so what does that have to do with your title “Sun Burnt!”? Thanks for asking! Lol – Before we go to Akron Youth Conference, we take the weekend and Monday for our real vacation and relaxing time. This year we decided to go to the beach/lake. That was a good idea and I supported it! Except for the fact that now I’m deadly burnt.. Some could call me a red Indian I’m that bad.
My whole body almost feels like it’s on fire, but thankfully it’s just my face, arms, and feet! Here are some pictures what they look like, and to forewarn anybody my feet are the most horrid thing you’ll probably ever see!!! Lol – Here are the pictures…

As you can probably tell, I got really sun burnt!!! The only one that’s going to hurt me is my feet because of my soaks and shoes rubbing them and hurting them. Hopefully I get used to them by the time Akron Youth Conference rolls around, which is actually tomorrow night at 11pm. They are having a lock-in instead of a banquet like they used to… I’m worried honestly because I don’t know that many people and I don’t know if there are going to be many people there. I guess we’ll see. I might make a post about it, but not sure yet. Good night and everyone else try not to get sun burnt if you’re out in the sun for too long! Lol
